Akronos Technologies, Italian company leader in innovation, R&D and high-tech engineering services, is looking for a Sr Firmware Engineer.

Position: Sr Firmware Engineer
Location: Varese, Italia

Job task:
- Develop, integrate, and validate embedded software for platforms based on real-time Operating Systems and Linux
- Develop software architectures
- Maintain documentation and ensure software deliverables meet requirements

Competence Requirements:
- BSc/MSc Degree in Computer or Electronic Engineering
- At least 4 years of working experience in the same role
- Good knowledge of C language and microcontroller architecture
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as: Ethernet, FlexRay, PCI, SPI, UART, USB
- Good knowledge of real time OS (VxWorks, FreeRTOS, RTOS, RTLinux, etc) and Linux
- Familiarity with Software architecture
- Good knowledge of standard protocols (A2L), XCP, UDS, etc
- Fluent English (both written and spoken)

- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
